Use of Lenox Corporation Trademarks and Products on Internet Sites of Accounts

Lenox Corporation wholesale accounts frequently ask our company for permission to include representations of our trademarks and products on their respective Internet home pages. In addition, we are often asked for these materials in computer readable form. Such requests from accounts should be reviewed by our Sales organization and Internet department to make sure the proposed use of our trademarks and product designs comports with our company's image requirements. The guidelines set forth below should be followed:

• Verify that the account requesting use of our property is an authorized account. In addition, if a particular location of an authorized account is making the request, make sure that that particular location is itself authorized.
• Make sure the Internet site uses the same trade name as the authorized account and/or location.
• Make sure that there are no restrictions on the use of the Lenox products proposed by the account to be included on its home page. For example, some of our license agreements with third parties prohibit the sale of the licensed products on the Internet.
• The Internet site of the requesting account should be reviewed, including all links on that site, to ensure that its content comports with our company's image requirements. Remember, the Internet site is similar to a retail store location and, therefore, should meet our image and quality standards. Your review in this regard is limited strictly to image of the site and proper usage of our trademarks. You must not comment or offer any advice on retail pricing. All retail pricing is left to the sole discretion of the authorized retail account.
• The proposed use of our trademarks and products should be submitted by the account for review and approval by the Internet department. If approved, our trademarks and product images must be accompanied with a proper trademark or copyright notice, as applicable and directed by Lenox.
